Step-by-step, working together, they figure out what to do.Once children have read the book, they are also curious to watch the DVD.The characters in the book appear in the menu of the actual DVD too and lead viewers to the 'big art' films.These films were made by prominent artists and filmmakers with a non-Western personal history (our 'new'neighbours). Except here the emphasis isn't necessarily on being different but on everyday life... and all that goes with it!
