Since 1992, French digital artist Hugo Verlinde leads a unique approach, wondrously combining art and mathematics. Concealing all programming devices, his films and installations unfold in space like beaming flows and myriads of stars, thus beguiling us into a striking universe. The image may explode or shiver: Verlinde actually reinvents a voluptuous and refreshing relation between the body and the cosmos.

A figurehead of the new French experimental cinema, the films of Hugo Verlinde are shown throughout Europe, Asia, and North America. Since 2005, his installations are presented in galleries and contemporary art exhibition halls.
